Hello everyone,
a few days ago, we said the green badge should be just a matter of time. Now it’s here: Log Away is officially Steam Deck Verified.
This is something we’ve been quietly working toward for a while, and we’re very happy to finally share it with you. Log Away was always meant to be a gentle place to step away from the noise for a while, and now that calm can come with you on Steam Deck too.
What this means on Steam Deck
Valve’s green badge means Log Away works great on Steam Deck right out of the box. For Log Away, that includes:
- all functionality being accessible with the default controller configuration
- Steam Deck controller icons shown in-game
- legible in-game interface text on Steam Deck
- a default graphics configuration that performs well on the device
What we’ve improved for Deck
To make Log Away feel right at home on Valve’s handheld, we’ve put work into:
- full Steam Deck control support
- a reworked UI and tutorial flow for handheld play
- better readability and navigation on Deck
- optimization work, with dedicated quality and performance options for the device
Same calm, more places to breathe
Whether you’re decorating a quiet corner, listening to the rain, or just taking a slow breath between busy days, Log Away is now ready to come with you. It’s the same relaxed, no-pressure retreat-building experience - just in more places, whenever you need it.
Thank you to everyone who asked us about Steam Deck along the way. We know many of you were waiting for this one, and we’re excited that the green badge is finally here.
We can’t wait to see where you take your retreat next.
